Stolen vehicle may be linked to vehicle entries in Shorewood

Several vehicles were entered early Sunday morning in Shorewood and police are searching for a vehicle stolen out of Milwaukee that may be involved in these incidents.

According to Shorewood Police Department, all of the vehicles entered were parked on the street and most were unlocked.

Two of the vehicles were entered by tampering with the door lock and there was also damage to the ignition switches in those vehicles indicating attempts to steal them.

Entries were reported on the 4300-4400 blocks of Wildwood, 4200 block of Olsen, and the 4000 block of Morris.

Police are seeking a tan Jeep Liberty which is listed as stolen out of Milwaukee for involvement in these incidents.

Shorewood Police reminded residents to lock vehicles and do not leave spare keys or anything of value inside.
