Steel Beams Arrive at Milwaukee Bucks New Arena

An important part of the Bucks arena structure arrived in the port of Milwaukee on Monday afternoon, but is not quite ready to be installed yet.

These long span steel beams will eventually become part of the roof of the new Bucks arena.

First they have to make their way to Merrill Iron and Steel in Schofield, Wisconsin.

There the beams will be cut and detailed to the arena's design.

They will eventually make their way back downtown where they'll become a key part of the structure stabilizing the roof.
