MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Steam plumes shut down I-794 Monday morning, May 18.
A We Energies plant nearby had severely reduced visibility near the Marquette Interchange and the Lake Interchange.
The company said parts of their steam system was flooded by heavy rain, creating the steam.
The highway was back open by 8 a.m.
There were no reports of any incidents due to the steam.
