State Senator Glenn Grothman narrowly wins congressional primary

MADISON -- State Senator Glenn Grothman is declaring victory in the extremely close Republican primary for the 6th Congressional District.
While only 70,000 votes were cast in this primary, only 225 votes separate Senator Grothman and State Senator Joe Leibham.
There is no word on whether the Leibham campaign will request a recount.
Senator Grothman will face Winnebago County Executive Mark Harris in the general election this November.
