WEST ALLIS, Wis (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin State Fair starts in exactly two months, and if you're looking for a short-term job, the fair is hiring right now.
The State Fair kicks off Aug. 1, but before that can happen, fair staff say they need to fill positions, like admissions and public safety.
That is why they held a job fair on Saturday, June 1.
State fair officials say they need a little bit of everything filled, with public safety positions being a top priority.
They say it's the perfect job for most people because it's less than two weeks of summer.
"So, if there’s other things they want to do throughout the year or the summer, they have an opportunity to just come and work for 11 days. We’re not asking for their entire summer," said Samantha Dennis, with the Wisconsin State Fair.
If you missed today's event, you can still apply for a job.
The state fair will have a hiring center open at the Cream Puff Pavilion starting June 10.
