ST. FRANCIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The St. Francis Police Department is investigating a string of car break-ins.
At least 15 cars were rummaged through.
They happened overnight and into the early morning hours of Thursday.
The first citizen called police to report that his car was broken into around 5:54 a.m. in the 3200 block of E. Waterford Avenue.
Several other citizens had their cars broken into in the 3800 block of S. Brook Place, 3100 block of E. Koenig Avenue, and 3100 block of E. Waterford Avenue.
In one case, a woman had her three unlocked vehicles rummaged through and a laptop was taken.
Police say the cars were unlocked in these incidents.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Anyone with information regarding the suspect or anyone who may have had surveillance video capture the break-ins is asked to call St. Francis Police at 414-481-2232.
