MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- There's a new place for St. Augustine Preparatory students and staff to get healthcare services.
The school on Milwaukee's south side just opened a health clinic. It will offer different services like physicals, vaccines, hearing, and vision screenings for the school's 600 students and their families.
"We're detecting and making sure our students receive these services they deserve and the families learn and know how to navigate the health system which is not an easy one to understand," said Alfonso Carmona, Superintendent of St. Augustine Prep.
The health clinic will be run by Sixteenth Street Community Health Center.
