Spring Snow Storm Possible on Thursday
We're not even a week into spring, and we're already talking about snow. It looks like it's going to happen on Thursday. The CBS58 weather team is still fine tuning the forecast, but if all goes according to plan, we could have at least several inches of heavy, wet snow across the metro and close to a foot in the northern fringes of the viewing area, like Fond du Lac and Dodge counties.
Obviously, it's still a little early to make this prediction. But the one computer model we've been reliant on all winter is forecasting this to happen. You know the entire weather team is watching this system carefully as it makes its way out of the Plains and into the Midwest.
And after Thursday, we could see a few bouts of light snow into next week. Good Friday looks dry and cool, but Easter could see scattered showers perhaps mixed with a few flakes of snow for good measure. Make sure to download our free CBS58 weather app when you're on the go this week, so you can stay ahead of the storm and be ready when it hits.
