Our spring-like weather continues! Sunday was the warmest day of 2020 with highs in the 60s almost everywhere. Although no records were broken it was extremely mild and melted almost all of the snow.
Light and scattered rain showers have been moving through southeast Wisconsin Monday morning but will become steadier during the afternoon and evening. Some pockets of heavy rain are possible with an isolated chance at a thunderstorm.
The rain will continue into Tuesday morning with the chance for a little snow to mix in at times before sunrise as the precipitation comes to an end. No snow accumulation is expected but don't be surprised if you see a few snowflakes. Expect roads to be a little wet for the morning commute.
This is a soaking rain so by the time it's all done Tuesday morning expect about a half to full inch of rainfall. If you live near a storm drain that is covered by debris or snow make sure it's clear to reduce the risk of ponding water.
