You couldn't ask for better weather for the first day of Summerfest! Southeast wind keeps temps in the 70s at the lakefront today with low humidity and abundant sunshine.

Dry weather will continue on Friday, but humidity will be a little more noticeable as dew points climb into the low 60s. Temps should be able to warm into the low 80s at the lakefront despite the SSE wind.

After dry weather for the first two days of the Big Gig, scattered showers and storms are expected off and on during the day Saturday. There will be some dry time, but it'll be pretty humid when it isn't raining. If we get enough sunshine ahead of the cold front Saturday afternoon, a few storms could be on the strong side Saturday evening.

Thankfully the warmth and humidity get out of here for the second half of the weekend! Temps drop into the 70s on Sunday.

Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather App to track Saturday's storms.
