Spectacular Sights & Lights at Boerner Botanical during October

It's a real taste of Chinese culture at one Milwaukee County Park.  Starting tomorrow and continuing through October 30, you can be a witness to the "China Lights" Chinese Lantern Festival at Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners.  CBS58, a proud sponsor, got a sneak peek Friday morning during the morning show. There are 40 magnificent lighted displays done by 30 artists.

Lit flowers, peacocks, cranes, butterflies are all part of the show.  But perhaps one of the biggest draws is a 200 foot dragon.  The head alone weighs 600 pounds.  The dragon itself is a powerful Chinese creature and symbol.

"China Lights" runs every night, except Monday, from 5:30pm to 10pm.  And every evening at 6:15, there's a procession to light all the displays.  Beside all the attractions, there's plenty of Chinese food and music.  It costs $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and kids between 5 and 17.  Infants get in free.  Look for much more on this event by clicking on the attached link.
