MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Festival season is here, but one celebration with deep roots in Milwaukee won't be returning to the city's Bay View neighborhood this July.
The Bay View Lions Club says the South Shore Frolics is canceled this year and won't return in the foreseeable future.
Organizers say the cost of putting on the festival was too much for the Lions Club to sustain.
The last South Shore Frolics was held in 2017.
