Some Tax Returns are Being Delayed because of Path Act

Tax experts are reminding people to get their taxes filed as soon as possible.

You may have heard about a delay in tax returns this year.

The Path Act delays certain refunds if the filer is claiming certain tax credits, but an H and R Block specialists said you should still file as early as possible.

IRS will delay processing of some refunds until February 14th.

That gives them time to make sure the consumer is being protected from fraud.

If you're worried about the delay, H &R Block does offer an advance on some tax refunds.
