MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A snow removal operation has been called in the City of Milwaukee for two nights - February 9 and February 10.
During the snow removal operation anyone who parks overnight must move their car to the odd numbered side of the street by 11 p.m. on Friday and leave it there until 6 a.m. and then must move their car again to the even side of the street by 11 p.m. on Saturday night until 6 a.m. Sunday.
If there is a sign on the street that says no parking is allowed then that sign takes precedence.
Some parking lots at Milwaukee Public Schools will be available for parking on Friday and Saturday nights. Anyone who does park in these lots must remove their cars by noon on Sunday or risk being ticketed and towed. To find a school lot to park in click here.
If you don't move your car you risk getting a $40 citation.
During the last snowstorm the City of Milwaukee wrote over $12,000 tickets.
