MILWAUKEE COUNTY (CBS 58) -- People who use wheelchairs want Milwaukee city officials to do something.
They can't get through the snow because people aren't clearing it.
"I would like city officials to be aware of their own responsibilities and then for community members to continue to talk to them about their responsibilities," said Sterling Avery.
Sterling Avery tells us the snow build-up was so bad on Wednesday that he couldn't get down the block.
He says when the sidewalks were cleared, he was faced with another issue.
"At the bus stops, often when the snow plows go through the streets, it pushes the snow up to the edge of the sidewalk and it creates a snow bank like this. And the ramps on buses cannot get down when the snow is like this," Avery said.
Sterling shared a picture of two people who helped clear snow from his home to his bus route last night.
He says it's important to help one another and to hold people accountable for clearing their snow.
