The Milwaukee Art Museum is getting ready to open up a new exhibition that celebrates art collectors.
We got a sneak peek inside the new exhibit called "Milwaukee Collects"
It's made up of more than 100 pieces of art taken from Milwaukee Art Collectors' private collections. Many of the pieces have never been put on public display before.
"We, in fact, had the entire curatorial worked on this project, as a result, the exhibition spans multiple art forms, multiple time periods, multiple media which is part of what makes it so exciting."
The exhibit opens to the public on Friday.
