Hometown author shares inspiration for ’The Sins We Inherit’
Temperatures this October have been a little up and down. We've had plenty of mild days but also some chilly ones. So far, Milwaukee has stayed away from its first freeze with a coldest temperature of 36° on both the 14th and 12th. The average temp is exactly 54° which is basically at average.
Over the next five days we will see a slow warm up with highs rising from the middle 50s Thursday to the middle 60s by Monday.
If you're looking ahead to Halloween and the end of the month the trend is for slightly below-average temps. The Climate Prediction Center has most of Wisconsin in a 40% area for below-average temps. The average high for October 31 is 54° so at this point expect highs in the upper 40s to around 50°.
