Six people arrested after man is beaten to death on Milwaukee's south side

 Milwaukee police are investigating after a man was killed during a fight early Saturday morning.

Police said they were called to 33rd Street and Lapham around 2:30 am for a fight that was taken place in the street.

When officers arrived they found a 40-year-old man who was beaten. Emergency personnel tried to revive the man, but he died as a result of his injuries.

Witnesses describe the suspects vehicle and a short time later police located it and arrested the six people inside.

All six people were from Milwaukee. here were three males ages 24,27, and 29 and three females ages 23,27, and 34.

Police are still investigating the circumstances that lead up to the fight.

The district attorney's office will be reviewing the case for charges in the coming days.
