Six injured in 4 incidents across Milwaukee overnight

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating four separate violent incidents that injured six people overnight.

According to police, the first incident happened about 11:40 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18 near W. Birch and N. 92nd where two Milwaukee men, one 22 and one 23 years of age, were shot and are expected to survive. They were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Police say the second incident happened around 12:00 a.m. near W. Highland and N. 27th where a 27-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were stabbed following an argument between the two and taken to local hospitals. The man is in serious condition and the woman is in stable condition.

Police report the third incident happened around 12:20 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 19 near W. Capitol and N. 27th where a 23-year-old woman was shot and taken to a local hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Police are saying the fourth incident happened around 2:05 a.m. near W. Hampton and N. 27th where a 35-year-old man was shot and taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
