Six Flags Great America Makes Bet on the Cubs

The bet is back on between Six Flags parks as the Chicago Cubs take on the New York Mets in the National League Championship Series. The stakes are higher than before with either Six Flags Great America or Six Flags Great Adventure having to rename its park for the remainder of Fright Fest.

If the Cubs win, Six Flags Great Adventure will rename their record breaking Kingda Ka roller coaster to Kingda Cubs and the park will be renamed to Six Flags Great Cubs.

If the Mets win the series, Six Flags Great America will rename their record breaking Goliath roller coaster to GoMets and the park will be renamed to Six Flags Great Mets.

Six Flags Great America made and won a similar bet with Six Flags St. Louis during the National League Division Series. Six Flags St. Louis renamed their coaster American Thunder to Cubs Thunder as a result.
