Silver Alert canceled: 77-year-old woman last seen at Wauwatosa hotel found safe

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Authorities tell CBS 58 77-year-old Elaine Moertl has been found safe.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Silver Alert has been issued for a 77-year-old woman missing from Milwaukee. Elaine Lucille Moertl was set to relocate to Tucson, Arizona on Friday, April 16. However, police say Elaine checked out of the hotel and drove away, leaving her brother-in-law, who was going to drive her to Arizona.

Elaine was staying at the Springhill Suites located at 10411 Watertown Plank Road in Wauwatosa/Milwaukee; she was visiting a family member in the hospital. 

Authorities describe Elaine as a white female, standing 5'3" tall, weighing 135 pounds with gray hair and hazel eyes. She has a left leg limp and was last seen wearing a blue puffy coat, black pants, and dark-colored boots. 

Elaine left in a 2006 teal Toyota Camry Solara, with Wisconsin registration 240GJZ.
