SAUKVILLE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 69-year-old Saukville man named John Lidbetter. John also goes by "Jack".
Lidbetter talked with family by phone Tuesday evening while he was at home. Wednesday morning around 8:30 a.m. a neighbor reported that his garage door and a door to his house were open but neither he nor his car were there.
The missing man used to live in Lake Geneva and due to cognitive impairment sometimes thinks he still lives there. He used to live on Wildwood Drive in Lake Geneva.
He is believed to be driving a 2007 silver Jeep Grand Cherokee with Wisconsin license plates 212-NMR.
Lidbetter is described as 6'2" tall and 260 pounds with gray hair and hazel eyes.
Anyone who sees him is asked to call Saukville Police at 262-284-0444.
