Shots fired investigation shuts down I-41 northbound near Capitol Drive

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A report of shots fired shut down I-41 northbound near Capitol Drive on Friday morning, June 26. 

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), the incident happened just after 10 a.m. 

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is investigating. They report no one is hurt. 

Traffic is diverted off the freeway. 

The MCSO has responded to two other shots fired reports on I-43 northbound and southbound in the past week.
