Shorewood Woman Mailed Citation for Failing to Yield to Fire Truck

A 68-year-old Shorewood woman was mailed a citation after the North Shore Fire Department reported she failed to yield to a fire truck.

According to Brown Deer Police, the incident occurred on 4400 block of River Lane.

The North Shore Fire Department reported that a vehicle failed to yield to a fire truck, nearly causing an accident.

Officers made contact with the woman over the phone, who stated she could not safely change lanes because there were too many cars behind her. She was mailed a citation for Failure to Yield to an Emergency Vehicle.
