SHOREWOOD, Wis. (CBS 58) – Stephanie Rapkin, the Shorewood attorney found guilty of spitting on a Black teenager during a 2020 Black Lives Matter protest, was sentenced to 60 days in jail time on Tuesday, May 23, beginning on the day of the sentence.

She has received four days of pretrial credit and refused to serve probation.

Video showed Rapkin spitting at 17-year-old Eric Lucas and officials say her saliva struck Lucas in his face and mouth area and on the top of his shirt.

In April 2023, a jury deliberated for close to three hours and ultimately came back with a guilty verdict of disorderly conduct.
