Shooting Happens Near Wendy's and McDonald's on Capitol Drive

A 37-year old Milwaukee woman was shot on Monday and suffered a non-life threatening injury near Capitol Drive.

Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that happened on Monday around 4:40 p.m. in the 4000 block of N. 27th Street near Capitol Drive. 

She was transported to a local hospital. 

The investigation is ongoing and MPD continues to seek suspects and determine the circumstances that led up to the incident.  

McDonald's and Wendy's are both located near 2700 block of West Capitol Drive.

McDonald's is currently closed.
