MILWAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office has a message for anyone who plans on drinking and driving while celebrating St. Patrick's Day weekend.
"We will have many officers on the freeway across all shifts looking specifically for drivers showing signs of impairment," said Dep. Inspector Daniel Hughes with the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.
Inspector Hughes said that the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office made more than 870 OWI arrests in 2018, 19 of which came on St. Patrick's Day weekend.
