Miller Lite and MCTS offering free rides ahead of St. Patrick's Day

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Miller Lite and Milwaukee County Transit System are teaming up again to offer free rides ahead of St. Patrick's Day.

The free rides are designed to help people celebrate safely and will be available on all MCTS bus routes Saturday, March 16 from 6:00 p.m. until the end of regular service.

“Anyone heading out to celebrate the holiday a little early, on Saturday night, can take advantage of safe, convenient and free transportation,” said Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele. “Folks can choose to leave their keys at home and instead count on MCTS and Miller Lite Free Rides to get around safely.

Miller Lite and MCTS have teamed up to provide safe, alternative transportation as part of Milwaukee’s St. Patrick’s Day celebrations for nearly one million people over the past 26 years.
