Sheriff's Deputy dashcam released in fatal deputy-involved shooting near lakefront

CBS 58 was the first station to show you dashcam video of the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Deputy chasing a suspect minutes before a shooting near the lakefront. The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office chose to share the video specifically with CBS 58.
Sheriff Clarke released the video to CBS 58’s Michele McCormack.
The video shows the Sheriff’s Deputy activate his lights before the suspect turns into a field leading the Deputy on a chase.
The video ends shortly after a different Sheriff’s Deputy opens fire hitting two people in the car.
Sheriff Clarke said he can’t show the rest of the video because it may impede the investigation.
