MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is conducting an internal investigation into a deadly crash involving a deputy.

Deputy Joel Streicher's unmarked squad car was the other vehicle. He was on duty.
Streicher is on administrative leave while the Milwaukee Police Department looks into what happened and whether criminal charges are appropriate.
The crash happened last month at the intersection of 10th and State. Stinson's family's lawyer says Deputy Streicher ran a red light.
The sheriff said he's patiently waiting for MPD's report.
"I hope we can bring some closure to the Ceasar Stinson family fairly soon," Sheriff Lucas said.
Last year, Streicher pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct resulting from a prostitution sting.
