Shelter in place lifted for Hartland

UPDATE (CBS 58) -- Police lifted the shelter in place for the Village of Hartland just after 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 30. The order was issued related to a domestic violence incident.
According to police, a woman and her children were inside a home on Hartridge Drive, with a suspect believed to be armed with an axe.
The Suburban Critical Incident Team was requested to assist with locating and safely making contact with the suspect. After several hours of attempting to communicate with the suspect, the suspect was taken into custody outside of the residence without incident.
