Sheboygan Police: Two woman arrested in connection with overdose death of 28-year-old man

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Sheboygan Police Department has arrested two people in connection with a suspected overdose drug.

Police responded to the 2400 block of Park Place in Sheboygan for a report of an overdose shortly before 11 a.m. on March 4.

Upon arrival, officers found a 26-year-old female performing CPR on a 28-year-old male victim from Green Bay. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he died on March 6.

Investigating officers located drug paraphernalia along with prescription medication and suspected heroin in the residence.

The investigation further revealed that the 26-year-old woman had purchased heroin from a 38-year-old female in Franklin and gave it to the victim.

The suspected 38-year-old drug dealer and a 32-year-old man were located and arrested at their home where officers also located methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and prescription medication. Two children, ages 12 and 14, were removed from the home and placed with family members.

The 26-year-old woman and the 38-year-old woman remain under arrest and charges have been referred.

The 32-year-old man was released from custody and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

The case remains under investigation.
