SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Sheboygan police are investigating several overdose cases, including one death, since Friday, Oct. 25.

According to the Sheboygan Police Department, the surviving people were either revived with narcan or taken to a local hospital.

Officials says the suspected fatal overdose involved a 25-year-old Sheboygan woman.

On Oct. 29, Sheboygan police arrested a 25-year-old Milwaukee man, who is on probation for delivery of heroin, and a 36-year-old Sheboygan woman, for their involvement in the delivery of the controlled substances.

The investigations are ongoing. Charges will be presented to the District Attorney's Office.

Sheboygan police want to stress that in the current illegal drug market, users seldom get what they believe they are buying.

"The purity levels and mixture of synthetic analogs places individuals at great risk of overdose or death," Sheboygan police said.
