Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office: Drugs suspected as a factor in four-vehicle crash

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Drugs appear to be a factor in a four-vehicle crash in the Town of Sheboygan on Friday, according to authorities.

The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office says around 9:00 a.m. May 15 they received several 911 calls about a multiple vehicle crash in the southbound lanes of I-43 at State Highway 23.

When deputies arrived, they found four vehicles involved in the accident. Several passengers in one of the vehicles reported minor neck and head pain and the driver of the offending vehicle was taken to a local hospital.

I-43 was closed while the scene was cleared and law enforcement completed their investigation.
