Several Residents in Hartford had Firearms Stolen from Unlocked Cars

Several unlocked cars in Hartford have been broke into and firearms were stolen.

Hartford Police Department said the owners of the vehicles left their firearms (several in some cases) in their vehicles.

“Now those weapons are in the hands of individuals that could potentially do harm to individual citizens or police officers. This places the community and police officers at great risk. Please help to prevent these thefts and protect the community by securing firearms in a safe place where only you have access to them. DO NOT leave firearms in your vehicle,” posted the Hartford Police Department on Facebook.
