MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee will host Fiesta Selena on Saturday, Sept. 6 at the Farmhouse Studio. The festival honors music icon Selena Quintanilla with a lineup of live music, dance, art and food.

Organizers say the event will include art classes, dance lessons and performances from regional musicians. A fashion show, look-alike contest and talent competition are also scheduled.

Food trucks and local vendors will be on site throughout the day.

The festival opens at 11 a.m. and continues into the evening. Performances include Michelle Zamora at 6 p.m. and Los Nenes Del Lago at 8 p.m.

Fiesta Selena is described as the Midwest’s largest Selena-themed festival, highlighting local artists and celebrating Selena’s cultural impact.
