School Bus Shot at in Los Angeles

SOUTH LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police Thursday searched for a gunman who fired his weapon at a school bus in South Los Angeles.

The shooting was reported around 6:30 a.m. near South Figueroa and Manchester, authorities said.

Upon their arrival, officers discovered a bullet had pierced the front windshield of the bus.

No students were on board and the bus driver was uninjured.

A preliminary investigation revealed a gunshot was fired during a nearby altercation, which subsequently struck the bus.

No arrests have been made.
