Wednesday will be unsettled with scattered showers and some storms. Most of the storms will occur during the morning and early afternoon.

A marginal risk for a strong to severe storm is possible; however, that risk is generally confined to our western counties. The ingredients will be slightly better in those areas as a warm front tries to nudge north by the evening.

Most of the storms that develop during the morning will be elevated in nature. They could contain small hail and some brief gusty winds. Storms that fire during the evening could also produce some hail and winds; however, the overall instability will remain low so widespread severe storms are not expected.
