MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Saz's Hospitality Group announced Monday, Oct. 16 they broke ground on their outdoor expansion plans for their exclusive venue in the heart of Walker's Point. 

"South Second" originally opened as an open floorplan event venue in 2016. Renderings in late June of 2023 showed its new expansive patio with balcony that can be used year-round. 

The new space will be fit for wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate gatherings, cocktail receptions, RNC events, galas, fundraisers, holiday parties, social celebrations, and more. 

“We’re thrilled to finally have shovels in the ground as we've envisioned this outdoor space for a considerable time. We’re excited to see the delight in our future guests as this new space will provide new experiences and unforgettable memories in a centrally located space,” partner Casey Sazama-Schneck shares.

Once renovations are complete, the Walker’s Point venue will have an outdoor seated capacity of 225, and 300 for a cocktail reception.

The new outdoor addition is scheduled to be completed by late spring of 2024. 

South Second and its new outdoor additions are open for 2024 and 2025 bookings.
