Santa Claus is coming to town for 'Cocoa with the Clauses'

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Santa and Mrs. Claus are set to make a special appearance at Cathedral Square Park for "Cocoa with the Clauses event." Bringing the spirit of Christmas to Milwaukee, the event aims to deliver a family friendly experience that is part of the Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival.

Families attending "Cocoa with the Clauses" can expect a picturesque setting with more than 130 evergreen trees decorated by local schools and organizations. There will also be activities that include photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus, along with the chance to enjoy cookies and hot cocoa. Santa's elves and other holiday characters will also be along for the trip, for additional photo moments.

The setting provides an ideal backdrop for family photos amidst the festive decorations at Cathedral Square Park on Saturday, Dec. 9, which is adorned with holiday lights and decorations as part of the 25th Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival.

The festival lights up three downtown parks, including Cathedral Square Park, with over 500,000 holiday lights.
