Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign in Milwaukee County over $1 million behind goal

MILWAUKEE COUNTY — The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign in Milwaukee County is behind its goal. As of December 26, the community has donated $2,732,830 which is over a million behind the campaign goal of $3.8 million.

Bell ringers stopped collecting donations on Christmas Eve but the campaign runs until Januar 15.

Red Kettle Campaign donations support more than 80 programs and services in Milwaukee County, including the Feed The Kids summer meals program, The Salvation Army Toy Shop, the Backpack and School Supplies Program, Coats for Kids, Christmas Family Feast, the Emergency Lodge and three food pantries.
