Salvation Army, Milwaukee Brewers pack summer meals for kids

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Salvation Army is making sure kids don't go hungry.

Brewers players and their wives helped pack 1,200 sack lunches to kick-off the kids summer meals program on Tuesday.

The lunches will be passed out to kids in Milwaukee's underserved neighborhoods every Friday.

Last year, The Salvation Army served more than 54,000 meals.
