MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Lots of high schools in our area are celebrating the achievements of their seniors this time of year.
But few are doing it like St. Augustine Prep in Milwaukee.
The school hosted its high energy "Decision Day" this afternoon.
Students, faculty and alumni gathered to shout out their outgoing seniors and their plans for the future.
That includes Edward Canas, one of the school's valedictorians. He shared with us how he is feeling on this special day.
"Nervous, but excited," said Canas. "I'm excited to be leaving Aug Prep and starting my own journey. But then nervous because the future. The future is wild. Very wild."
Canas is the first in his family to attend college. He will be attending MSOE in the fall -- and he also plans to join the Marine Corps Reserves.
Congrats and good luck to all the seniors getting their diplomas this spring.
