The sheer number of accidents that took place Sunday means many local drivers have either forgotten or are chosing to ignore some pretty basic rules for winter driving.

\"They think its no different in the snow than it is in July,\" said Michael Maloney, owner of Westway Auto Body Shop.

He suggest always driving slow. He also said you should never assume your vehicle can handle this type of weather.
