Ryan Returns to Wisconsin, Dozens Protest

House Speaker Paul Ryan visited Racine for the Lincoln Day Dinner.

Ryan is back in his district after the no-vote on the health care bill in Washington on Friday.

On Saturday, about 250 people were came out to the dinner and dozens protested outside calling for Ryan’s attention.

Demonstrators were not allowed near festival hall and security was tight… but that didn't stop Valeria Ruiz from protesting..

"He should be spending more time here in his district versus where he is right now.  I know we intimidate him. I know he is scared of us and he should be. We are building power, we are organizing the community and educating others,” said Valeria Ruiz.
