KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Rustic Road Brewing Company will host its 4th annual Lakeside Oktoberfest from Thursday, Sept. 25 through Sunday, Sept. 28 at Celebration Place in downtown Kenosha.
The four-day festival features live music, food and German-inspired contests. Musical acts include The Spirit Shakers, Old Brown Shoes, One Way Out, Revival, Ben Mulwana, Mistaken Identity and Ivy Ford.
Food options include brats from Hometown Meats, pretzels, schnitzel sandwiches and cheese curds. Special events range from the Boys and Girls Club’s .1K Brat Trot to dart ball, stein hoisting, brat toss contests and a bratwurst slingshot.
Julia Heiser, marketing manager, Chuck Nelson, owner, and brewer Bill Siel joined us on Thursday, Sept. 18, along with Molly the French Bulldog, who will compete in the festival’s dog costume contest.
