MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- An organization that helps young people across Milwaukee County celebrated a milestone anniversary Tuesday, Oct. 27.
The Running Rebels marked their 40th anniversary with a virtual ceremony.
The organization serves more than 2,500 young people annually through unique community-based mentoring, violence prevention, workforce development, art, athletics and leadership development.
"I remember as a kid talking about trying to change the world, make a difference, and I think 40 years later with this organization, that is what we're doing," said Victor Barnett, founder of Running Rebels.
If you'd like to help make the Running Rebels possible for another 40 years, they're accepting donations on their website.
