GLENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Sprecher Root Beer Bash, billed as the world’s largest root beer float festival, will take place Saturday, Aug. 3 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Yard in Bayshore.
The event, organized by Discover the North Shore, is free and open to the public. Becca Garrison, the organization's executive director, joined us on Thursday, Aug. 1 to preview the event, highlighting a variety of activities, including a Kids Dance Party, vendor booths, food trucks and live music by The Steve Beguhn Band.
In addition to enjoying complimentary root beer floats, participants can expect a community art project and other family-friendly attractions.
Sprecher Brewing Company will donate a meal to Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin for each root beer float served.
