Rock N Sole Run Taking Extra Precautions for Hot Weather

Organizers of the 6th Annual Rock 'N Sole Run this Saturday say they are prepared for the hot weather.

They'll be adding ice chips to the regular water stops and will have paramedics on stand by.

Still, organizers are urging runners to start hydrating now.

Money raised will go towards the Summerfest Foundation and  the Boys and Girls Club.

There are a variety of routes that highlight Milwaukee's scenic lakefront ahead of the opening of the Summerfest Music Festival.

Spectators are also welcome and can join participants and their families with a post run party that will have musical entertainment.
