Road debris flies through windshield, injures one on Hwy 45

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Deputies with the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office responded to a crash on Hwy 45 at W Park Pl.
A car had crashed into the median. Upon deputies arrival, they determined that the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle involved was struck by a piece of road debris that had traveled through the windshield.
The Milwaukee Fire Department responded to the scene and the person was taken to a local hospital.
There is currently no word on their condition.
The incident remains under investigation.
